This Privacy Policy describes how Scanner Pro Master ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Data Collection & Local Storage

We prioritize your privacy by keeping your data where it belongs: on your device.

Scan History: All decoded QR and Barcode data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. We do not transmit, store, or have access to your scan history.
Manual Deletion: Users can delete their entire history or individual records at any time through the "History" section.

2. Firebase & Technical Services

To ensure application stability and manage updates, we use Google Firebase services:

Remote Config: Used to manage mandatory version updates and system notifications. This allows us to ensure all users are on a secure, compatible version (including Android 15 optimizations).
Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash reports (e.g., stack traces, device model, OS version) to fix technical bugs.
Analytics: Collects non-personally identifiable information (country, session duration) to improve user experience.

3. Advertising & User Consent (GDPR/UMP)

We use Google AdMob to serve ads, which helps keep the App free. In compliance with European and international regulations:

Consent Management: We use the Google UMP (User Messaging Platform) to ask for your permission regarding personalized advertising.
IDFA/AAID: With your consent, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show relevant ads. You can reset these identifiers in your Android/iOS system settings.

4. Camera & Storage Permissions

The App requires specific permissions to function correctly:

Camera: Strictly used for scanning codes. No photos or videos are recorded or transmitted.
Storage (Media): Required only for saving generated QR codes to your gallery or scanning images from your device.
Network: Used to load advertisements and fetch mandatory update information from Firebase.

5. Android 15 & System Integrity

Scanner Pro Master is fully optimized for Android 15, including support for 16 KB memory architecture. We do not bypass any system security features and respect all OS-level privacy sandboxes.

6. Data Security & Retention

Since your personal data (scans) is stored locally, its security depends on your device's security. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, all locally stored history will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Major changes may be announced via App notifications through Remote Config.
